Follow this link to read about about the Pop Warner Rookie Tackle Program.

This program is designed to bridge young flag players to learning about tackle football.  the Rookie Tackle Program features smaller teams (eg. 7 on 7), 50 yard fields with modified rules and coaches on the field to build skills for players at multiple positions.

The Connecticut Pop Warner leagues are exploring this program for possible implementation this fall.

NE PW Scholar Tribute
by patrick gillespie posted 02/11/2019

CONGRATULATIONS to all of the New Fairfield Falcons who have been named to New England Pop Warner (NEPW) Scholar Teams for 2019!!!

You should receive a postcard in the mail reminding you to SAVE THE DATE for the Region Scholar Tribute. (see also attached FAQ)
Families will have an opportunity to sign up online for the Tribute Ceremony where Scholars will receive their certificates.  There are always special guests and a photo op for each Scholar.  You can also sign up for optional Stadium Tours.  No matter who your favorite NFL team is, a stadium tour is always a fun time!

There is also hotel information on the New England Pop Warner website if you choose to get there the night before the ceremony or to make a whole weekend of it and stay until Sunday.  If you've never been to Gillette Stadium, there is a bunch to do at Patriot Place.  http://patriot-place.com/

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
I will take a look at the extended weather forecast and send out another email ASAP to see if we can get a group photo of all of our scholars for the Town Tribune.

GO FALCONS!
